False Prophet

Identifying the False Prophet

First Things First

In order to understand the information on this page the reader must understand YaHuWaH's abhorrence of pagan institutions, which includes the worship of idols and the observance of days dedicated to pagan gods. He alone is rightfully worthy of all praise, honor, and devotion.

The nation of Israel was warned not to observe pagan practices repeatedly, first by YaHuWaH Himself (at Mt. Sinai) and then by prophet after prophet after Israel entered the promised land. Time and again Israel suffered wars, captivities, and servitude at the hand of foreign nations because the nation fell into pagan idolatry and YaHuWaH 's instructions weren't followed. He alone is rightfully worthy of all praise, honor, and devotion.

Please read the books of Judges and the Kings to appreciate how furious our heavenly Father becomes when His people associate themselves with pagan observances and traditions. He alone is rightfully worthy of all praise, honor, and devotion.

The Goal of a Prophet of YaHuWaH

The goal of both Eliyahu (Elijah) and John the Baptist was to turn the hearts of the children (of Israel) to their heavenly Father.

This central goal of loving the Father was also confirmed by YAHUSHUA Himself in Matthew 22.

Matthew 22:37 YAHUSHUA said unto him, Thou shalt love YaHuWaH thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.

We are commanded above everything else to love YaHuWaH with all our hearts.

Obedience is the evidence of love.

2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

The Goal of a False Prophet

The goal of a false prophet, described in Deuteronomy chapter 13 of YaHuWaH's military basic training manual the Torah is to turn the hearts of the people away from honoring (obeying) the instructions of YaHuWaH

Deuteronomy 13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for YaHuWaH your Elohim proveth you, to know whether ye love YaHuWaH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 Ye shall walk after YaHuWaH your Elohim, and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and ye shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him.
5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from YaHuWaH your Elohim, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which YaHuWaH thy Elohim commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

True Prophets

The mark of a true prophet (YAHUSHUA):
Mark 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And He said unto him, Why callest thou Me good? there is none good but one, that is, YaHuWaH: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

The mark of a true prophet (YAHUSHUA):
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."Matthew 5:19

The mark of a true prophet (John):
"For this is the love of YaHuWaH, that we keep His commandmentsAnd His commandments are not burdensome." 1 John 5:3

The mark of a true prophet (Abraham):

Genesis 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the Earth be blessed;
5 Because that Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My Torah.

Obedience is the evidence of love.

False Prophets

The purpose of the false prophet is to turn the hearts of the children away from the Father.

The mark of a false prophet (Paul)
"But that no one is justified by the Torah in the sight of YaHuWaH is evident…"Galatians 3:11

The mark of a false prophet (Paul):
"…for by the works of the Torah no flesh shall be justified." Galatians 2:16

The mark of a false prophet:
The one who teaches that obedience to the commandments of YaHuWaH is unimportant and optional.

The mark of a false prophet:
The one who teaches that obedience to the commandments of YaHuWaH brings a curse.

Paul was a Pharisee and persecuted the early Torah observant believers in YAHUSHUA Messiah. He was acting on the side of the oppressive establishment.

Note: It was the Pharisees who, because of their added instructions to the Torah, considered
YAHUSHUA a false Messiah and pushed for His crucifixion. It was these added instructions of the Pharisees to YaHuWaH's written Torah which blinded the spiritual eyes of the Pharisees to the reality of the perfect human Torah, the Messiah, who stood before them for examination. The Pharisees had been spiritually blinded by disobeying a specific instruction in the Torah Deuteronomy 4:2 'not to add to, or diminish from', the word of YaHuWaH.

Paul was unsuccessful in his zealous persecution of the Torah observant believers. As a result these early Jewish Messianic believers continued to increase in numbers.

Paul then said that he had had a 'vision' and called himself an Apostle. But he preached not for, but against, the social laws and against the social system of the Torah. He preached against material independence, against social security, against freedom from oppression and exploitation. Most people don't realize that what Paul preached against are the freedoms and outstanding qualities inherent in the Torah that was given by YaHuWaH.

The Messiah said "if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." YAHUSHUA the Messiah is identified in John 1:1 as the Word, the living Torah of YaHuWaH The main thrust of Messiah's teaching was to embed the Torah into the believer's heart

Paul's teachings turn people away from the Torah, directly contradicting the instructions of both the Father and the Son. These two witnesses, the Father (Deut. 13:1-5) and the Son Matt. 19:17, John 5:43, Rev. 2:14, Rev. 2:20, Rev. 22:14), declare Paul to be a false prophet.

Paul preached the political ideology of an oppressive establishment which exploited the populace unhindered. His teachings
require believers in Messiah to obey oppressive ungodly governments who themselves want to be 'god' in place of YaHuWaH.

The fruit of Paul's teachings: One government has removed bible reading and prayer from schools and replaced those virtues with instruction in homosexual perversion. The Christians of this nation follow Paul's teachings and humbly and silently submit to what appears to be, in this person's opinion, an oppressive dictatorship. The death of this society will be the fruit of Paul's teachings.

"By their fruits you shall know them", YAHUSHUA Messiah.

The fact is that Paul has been elevated to god status in place of the real God in the hearts of most Christians. Repent!

Paul's Teachings

Although Paul teaches in one place that the Torah is not void, he teaches in another place that it is void. This results in uncertainty and confusion.
YaHuWaH instructs in the book of Leviticus to eat certain foods and not eat others. The foods not to be eaten include pork and shellfish.

Christians can plainly read Paul's teachings in 1 Corinthians 8 (below) and justify eating pork and shellfish.

1 Co 8:7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to YaHuWaH: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

The liberty of the Torah forbids eating pork, just as the liberty of the Garden of Eden forbade the eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Reference verse 8 above: Adam was worse because of what he ate, and so are over 1 billion Christians who follow Paul's teachings.
Paul equates himself with the Serpent in the garden in verse 8 above. The temptation by both the serpent and Paul concerns eating and having knowledge
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Paul's letters to the churches which form the majority of christian doctrine today were written about 60 A.D.

The Rebuke of Paul by YAHUSHUA the Messiah

In the book of the Revelation (written about 90 A.D.) the letters to the seven churches in Asia contain messages directly from YAHUSHUA the Messiah rebuking Paul's false teachings.

In 1 Corinthians 8:8 above Paul approves eating things sacrificed to idols. The Messiah directly rebukes Paul's teaching here in Revelation 2:14.

Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Here, Paul's false teaching in 1 Corinthians 8:8 is being propagated by a woman and is again rebuked by YAHUSHUA Messiah.

Revelation 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Paul and Barnabus declared themselves apostles and subtly belittled Peter and the other apostles who were the chosen eye witnesses of Messiah.

Revelation 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

The above rebukes were delivered by YAHUSHUA the Messiah Himself in approximately 90 A.D., about 30 years after Paul's epistles to the churches were written and began to have their effect on the various congregations. The love of many for YaHuWaH was growing cold because of Paul's teachings. The work of a false prophet is to turn the hearts of the people away from followingYaHuWaH

Christianity today uses Paul's letters to justify ignoring YaHuWaH's instructions (Torah).

The Torah is the perfect instruction book for eternal life and living given from the loving Creator to mankind.

YAHUSHUA said in John 14:6 " I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me."

John 14:6 paraphrased " I am the Torah, no man comes to the Father but by Me".

YAHUSHUA the Messiah is the Living Word. YAHUSHUA the Messiah is the Living Torah.

John 14:15 " If ye love Me, keep My commandments (Torah)."

Paul's teachings have millions of people today disregarding the Messiah Himself, the Torah, the Way to the Tree of Life.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

What is the fruit of Paul's teachings? Today there are about 1.9 billion Christians who don't care about the Father's instructions. They are isolated from the Father by regarding His instructions as antiquated and irrelevant today. This isolation is known as spiritual death. It's the same death Adam suffered the day he left the Garden. Death is the eventual fruit of Paul's teachings on justification by faith. Faith without works is dead - James chapter 2.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy Name? and in thy Name have cast out devils? and in thy Name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew youdepart from Me, ye that work iniquity. (iniquity - Strong's 458: a nomia - the condition of being without law (Torah))

The statement in Matthew 7:23 above, "I never knew you", is the Jewish idiom for intimate intercourse between a man and a woman. YAHUSHUA the Messiah is identified in John 1:1 as the Word, the Living Torah. Today 1.9 billion Christians have little or no intercourse with the Torah because of Paul's teachings.

The Messiah indicates in Matthew 7:21 -23 above that many people will have done good works in HIS NAME but He doesn't have an intimate relationship with them. These people will have no knowledge of HIS true nature. These are they who, for example, have ham for dinner on Easter Sunday. Unfortunately the Living Torah has to say "depart from Me" to these Christians because they aren't like He is. They are foreign to His set-apart (holy) nature and He won't allow Himself to be defiled by their close association with Him. Paul's teachings have helped to blind Christians to this fact and have robbed these Christians of eternal reward.

Messianic teachers who try to defend Paul's teachings have to contort and untangle Paul's writings in order to make his teachings appear to be acceptable. I attended a Messianic Fellowship several times but left when I learned members who were formerly Jews were using Paul's teachings to justify shopping on Shabbat.

Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I YAHUSHUA have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

The Witnesses

YaHuWaH - Even if a prophet gives you signs that come to pass, if he directs your obedience (love) away from Me that prophet is a false prophet. Kill him.Deuteronomy 13:1 - 5

YaHuWaH - Abraham obeyed My voice, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws, therefore I will bless him and perform unto him My oaths.

Genesis 26:3 - 5

YAHUSHUA - The keeping of the commandments of the Father is necessary for one to enter into life.

Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And He said unto him, Why callest thou Me good? there is none good but One, that is, YaHuWaH: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

(in Hebrew the word "keep" means to "cherish, guard, and protect")

John - For this is the love of YaHuWaH, that we keep His commandments... 1 John 5:3

The commander of today's 'Christian church' is the false apostle Paul who teaches there is no need to obey the Father's commandments.

The teachings of Paul and the teachings of YAHUSHUA the Messiah clash head on.

YAHUSHUA told us that heaven and Earth would pass away before anything would be changed concerning the application of the Father's commandments to our lives.

Paul's 'gospel' is not the gospel of YAHUSHUA the Messiah.

Paul is identified by the Father and His Son as a false prophet.

Paul's name was originally Saul (Sha'ul). The name Sha'ul in Hebrew is the same word as the Hebrew word for the realm of the dead, She'ol.

Paul has very nearly accomplished his original goal, the death of true Christianity. A Pharisee of the Pharisees indeed.

Please search these things out for yourself.

The Final Warning from YAHUSHUA

Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, togive every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega (Aleph and Tav), the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

A Question from a Reader

If Paul is a false prophet, why are his epistles in the bible

There are at least two answers to this question. Here's the first response:

The books of the bible were chosen by groups of Christians. Catholics have chosen certain books to be included in their Catholic bible. Protestants have chosen certain books to be included in their bibles. Here is a link that will help explain biblical canon

Hundreds of epistles, manuscripts, and books were examined by these canon groups, and what these groups considered to be the best books were included in their "version of the bible". You will find additional books in some Catholic bibles that are not included in protestant bibles. These additional books are called the apocrypha.

The books to be included in the bible were chosen by men who had been taught to think and believe a certain way. The epistles of Paul were chosen because those epistles agreed with the views that the men held who were deciding what books should be in their canon (their version of the bible).

In the 4th century AD the true church received a major attack that did great harm. Roman Emperor Constantine declared Christianity to be the state religion of the Roman Empire. Immediately, unconverted pagans flooded the church because it was now 'politically correct' to be a christian. Constantine then convened a church council and forced them to change the observance of the 7th day Sabbath to Sunday. He also forced the church to adopt Easter instead of Passover. Constantine did this because the purpose for him declaring Christianity as the state religion was to unify the pagan and the christian people and bring political stability and peace to his Empire.

The commandments of the Almighty
YAHUSHUA to observe the Sabbath and Passover were gone. In their places were the pagan observances of Ishtar (Easter), where eggs were dipped in the blood of sacrificed infants, and Sunday the 1st day of the week when the pagans worshiped the sun god, and December 25 the day of the birth of the pagan sun god. True Christianity was forcefully paganized by Constantine. In effect the bride of Messiah was spiritually raped by Constantine. The Roman church then gave herself over to indulge in further pagan abominations and became a spiritual harlot, and the mother of spiritual harlots.

These pagan abominations were passed from pagan Babylon to Rome and then to the Roman church. The title 'Pontifex Maximus' was the title of the High Priest of pagan ancient Babylon. That title was passed from the pagan Babylonian priesthood to the Roman Caesars to the Bishop of Rome. The pope holds that ancient Babylonian pagan title, Pontifex Maximus, today. This identifies the Roman church as the 'Mystery Babylon' of the book of Revelation. The obelisk is a fertility symbol of pagan origin and is publicly displayed, commonly in the form of church steeples, in Mystery Babylon.

Since the 4th century AD the church has observed Sunday and Easter and December 25. That's the big problem. Because of sin, the spiritual understanding of church leaders and members was, and is today, diminished. The definition of sin is 'disobedience to the commandments of YAHUSHUA'.

After many centuries of observing Sunday, Lent (derived from the pagan weeping for Tammuz), etc., and other pagan traditions, the people who were going to choose the books that would be included in the bible canon met together to make their choices. Because of the way they looked at things with darkened understanding, they chose the books that went along with what they believed to be true. And they rejected other books and manuscripts that didn't agree with their perceptions and views.

Paul's epistles agreed with what these men believed, so they included Paul's epistles in their biblical canon, their version of the bible. So, everyone trusted these men who put the bible canon together and accepted what they had chosen as being above reproach. They were biblical scholars of the finest degree, but lacking complete spiritual understanding.

The canon scholars didn't notice that what Paul teaches doesn't agree with what Jesus teaches or what YaHuWaH teaches or what John teaches.

Most of the church today follows Paul, not Jesus or His Father.

What is brought out on this webpage is that one aspect of following Jesus is to obey the Father's commandments. Paul says you don't have to obey the Father's commandments. Jesus says obey the Father. Almost 100% of Christians now follow Paul and think he's the greatest teacher in the bible. The truth is that his epistles probably shouldn't be in the bible. They are anti-Jesus, anti christ.

That's what happens when we trust men to put a bible together for us. They were deceived, so we are deceived.

We must search these things out for ourselves because we are responsible for ourselves and those following us.

The epistles of Paul may have a very real purpose as revealed in the second answer below.

Now the second response to the question of why Paul's epistles are in the bible:

Like Gideon's army, an army is being selected by YaHuWaH. Many are called but few are chosen. Only 300 men were selected out of 32,000 by YaHuWaH to accompany Gideon in battle. The ones who were chosen were watching as they drank water from the brook.

As we drink from the living water of the bible, few of us will be aware of the need to keep the Father's commandments because many pastors today, as Paul, tell us the need for obedience is done away with.

YAHUSHUA told us that heaven and Earth would pass away before anything would be changed concerning the application of the Father's commandments to our lives.

Only certain people will be aware of the instructions issued by YaHuWaH in Deuteronomy 13:1-3 concerning the purpose of a false prophet, and many fewer people will recognize Paul as a false prophet.

Deuteronomy 13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for YaHuWaH your Elohim proveth you, to know whether ye loveYaHuWaH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.

YaHuWaH may allow Paul's epistles to be in the bible canon in order to separate out, and set apart like Gideon's army, an army of people who's hearts are perfect toward Him.

In ancient Jewish culture the father selected the bride (helper) for his son.

Please don't be deceived. The Father hasn't authorized any man or body of men to change His appointed Sabbaths, Feasts, or commandments.

Verse Dedications

I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them to be false." Revelation 2:2 (NIV)

"Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees" Matthew 16:12 (KJV)

Was the apostle Paul a false prophet? Did Paul preach 'another' gospel than that of Jesus Christ? Why wasn't Paul chosen as one of the original twelve, or chosen to replace the apostle that betrayed Christ? Why did Paul's 'conversion' result in blindness, when Christ performed miracles of restoring sight to many in the gospels? Why does Paul brazenly admit to things like:

(stealing) "I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service." II Cor 11:8

(boasting) "Since many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast." II Cor 11:18

(speaking NOT on behalf of Lord) "That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting" II Cor 11:17

(trickery and deceit) "Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you by trickery!" II Cor 12:16

We've been warned before about "devils in disguise" as "angels of light"... Here is a scriptural look into the mind of a deceiver - via the pages of Corinthians I and II. The devil's in the details:

(Paul urges the Corinthians to imitate him, rather than Christ

"Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the gospel. Therefore I urge you to imitate me." I Cor 4:15/16

(Paul decides to pass judgment on someone)

"And I have already passed judgment on the one who did this, just if I were present." I Cor 5:3

(Paul decides to consult with Satan, not Jesus, concerning the man he passed judgment on)

"hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord." I Cor 5:5

(Paul thinks he is better than anyone else)

"I wish that all men were as I am." I Cor 7:7

(Paul advocates that husbands should start living the single life again)

"What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none;" I Cor 7:29

(Paul advocates staying the same and not progressing forward)

"Each one should remain in the situation he was in when God called him." I Cor 7:20

(What does Paul have against marriage?)

"An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's affairs:" I Cor 7:34

"But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world - how she can please her husband." I Cor 7:34

(strange talk)

"In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is - and I think that I too have the spirit of God." I Cor 7:40

(Paul expects to make money off the gospel that Christ commanded to be preached freely)

"In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel." I Cor 9:14

"If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you?"I Cor 9:11

(Paul loves the sin of pride)

"I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of this boast." I Cor 9:15

(Paul decrees that a hairstyle can keep you from being a good Christian)

"Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a discrace to him," I Cor 11:14

Here... Paul mis-quoted scripture. In II Cor 6:2 Paul asserts that God said something that God didn't:

For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of my salvation I helped you." II Cor 6:2

What Isaiah 49:8 REALLY says is:

This is what the Lord says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances," Isaiah 49:8

Why did Paul ... distort scripture? And how would any believer defend this as something "O.K."?

So that no one will accuse me of taking anything out of context - I will include surrounding passages in addition to referencing the chapter number and passage numbers for this next example:

"Since many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast." II Cor 11:18

---surrounding passages---

"In this self-confident boasting I am not talking as the Lord would, but as a fool." II Cor 11:17

"You gladly put up with fools since you are so wise!" II Cor 11:19

Here is Paul not only boasting as "the world does" - but expressing a "self-confident" attitude in this boasting! And then, shockingly, Paul confesses that what he says is not coming from the Lord. (Who then is it coming from?) Then Paul admits that he is talking "as a fool"

A boasting, self-confident, self-proclaimed foolish talker who admits that he is not speaking godly wisdom?

(Paul causes the Corinthians pain and hurt on several instances)

"So I made up my mind that I would not make another painful visit to you." II Cor 2:1

"Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it -- I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while." II Cor 7:8

(Paul shows envy of other apostles, false humility, a need for congratulation, and more foolish talk)

"I have made a fool of myself, but you drove me to it. I ought to have been commended by you, for I am not in the least inferior to the 'super-apostles', even though I am nothing." II Cor 12:11

(Paul resorts to sneaky, under-handed tactics - WWJD?)

"And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal whith us in the things they boast about." II Cor 11:12

(Nothing seems to stop Paul from his boasting)

"I must go on boasting." II Cor 12:1

(Paul's threat to punish - what happened to the love of Christ?)

"On my return I will not spare those who sinned earlier or any of the others," II Cor 13:2 B

And there are 14 epistles full of evidence of misquoting scripture, boasting, not speaking on behalf of the Lord, strange doctrines, opinion presented as truth, envy, false humility, and some particularly venemous rants - such as the following:

(Paul advocates castration for those who disagree with his doctrine on circumcision)

"Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!" Gal 5:11/12

Paul's tasteless rant aimed at those of the circumcision - he wants some to just go ahead and cut it all off...? Why do people defend [Paul] when he exposes HIMSELF as that via the scripture? ...

Whether these passages were the only thing on a page - or whether they appear in the bulk of a page - they are still 'evil leaven'. And if it was just one verse that was questionable - that would be one thing... But it's verse after verse after verse.
